Course Overview

This unique course is aimed at  team leaders and members of development teams working in a structured project environment in any business sector. It brings together the tried and tested framework of PRINCE2® project controls and the benefits of agile ways of working. These benefits include early delivery of value, enhanced creativity, effective communication between stakeholders and timely response to rapidly changing requirements.

The course covers the PRINCE2 Foundation syllabus and the new PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner syllabus. It's divided equally between theory and practical exercises to ensure that you're able to apply your learning in the real world of projects. If you're successful in the exams you'll be awarded the PRINCE2 Foundation and PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certificates.

There are no prerequisites but we recommend that you have some experience of working in a project. To be eligible to take the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam, you must pass the PRINCE2 Foundation exam.



5 days. We don't ask you to do any significant pre-course study. However, the course is intensive and we advise you to undertake some work in the evenings in preparation for the examinations.


Course Objectives

The course enables you to blend and tailor PRINCE2 and agile ways of working in the context of your own projects.

By the end of the course you will be able to:

  • Identify the factors which enable successful projects
  • Recognise and use the key PRINCE2 and PRINCE2 Agile terminology
  • Tailor the PRINCE2 framework of principles, themes and processes to your own projects
  • Apply agile behaviours, concepts and techniques including:
